Close your eyes and “imagine” if you will. You are sitting on the oceanfront veranda of the Rothesay House Heritage Inn B&B in historic Harbour Grace Newfoundland. It is early sunrise as you watch and listen. A great black backed seagull bravely dives at a majestic and menacing bald eagle. His futile warning calls echo out over the harbour and go unnoticed by his formidable adversary. Can you see it? Perhaps the sea is up and the whitecaps are curling ashore, dragging the beach pebbles with them. Can you hear it? You look across the harbour and admire a fishing boat, its bow slices through the sun sparkles on the water as it makes its way out to sea. For a moment there you go aboard and wish you were out there with them. What if? Go ahead, take a deep breath of fresh ocean air but don’t lollygag too long as breakfast awaits you in our  dining room and there is much to see and do today.  We are waiting for you.
